Midgets - Chili Bowl

Winged Sprints- Knoxville

Non-winged - thats trickier, but I'd have to probably say the Oval Nationals is the biggest non wing race these days...

Sprint Cars - Joe James-Pat O'Connor Memorial - Salem Speedway

Less so these days, I'll reluctantly admit.

What is the most Prestigious Midget Car Event ? _____________
Winged sprints: The Knoxville Nationals

Traditional sprint cars: Oval Nationals (a newer tradition)

Midgets: (Three way tie)

Chili Bowl, Belleville Midget Nationals, Turkey Night Grand Prix

(one of the above Midget races needs to separate itself from the pack with a substantially larger winner's check)

Sprint Car: Knoxville Nationals - The purse alone sets it apart. Plus it generally takes years of experience to win.

Midgets: Belleville Midget Nationals - It takes a ton of courage just to get around the place.

Midgets-Bellville or Night Before 500 , I think this Chilli Bowl thing has done got out of hand. How can a 1/5 mile, dusty, putt-putt for 3 nights waiting for the track to be good for the 2nd half of the feature Saturday night even compete with any real race!
