I'm so old that I recall actually attending a Xavier football game. They played and lost (I think ) to the Chattanooga Moccasins. It was some special deal, homecoming maybe, and I remember thinking the brand new '56 Ford Crown Victoria, which carried some dignitaries around the track at halftime, was the most beautiful car I had ever seen.

TCU missed the championship game by 2 points. One point in this game and one point in the UT/Nebraska game. Oh well for a non football fan, UT in the title game is good for me too.

It may take at least 2 cases of Ding-a-ling beer just to revive him.

Another great example of why I love college sports. The exciting games saturday with texas just barely winning. Cincy now has some momentem lets see them, play a big 10 or sec team. I'll take my UK wildcats to beat them. Would be a great regional rivalry game.

Many close games last Sat. Would've been neat to see who would be playing 'Bama if Texas had lost. TCU or Cincy probably would've gotten the nod with Boise sucking hind you know what. Boise needs a stronger schedule. I think TCU would've been chosen but it is a moot point. Sugar Bowl with Cincy and Gators could be great. Tom
