Hey tony, this might me a fact that you dont know. my real name is William Allan Sammy Puterbaugh. Both of my middle names come from your relation "Sammy". As you know his real name being Allan Dale From the storys that i hear all the time he and my dad were great friends. and all the pictures we have of them together i will have to show you some. Hey Jerry, thank you for starting this thread. It is nice to have a thread about a new member instead of the sort of negative threads we see here on IOW all too often lately. Yes, I know I'm not always "Mr. Positive" myself :doh:

Tony is one of the good guys, we just thought it would be nice to include him or welcome him to the board how ever you want to look at it. Sometimes it is hard to stay positive. :respect:

Welcome to the board Tony. I had the opportunity to see Sammy run some during the latter part of his career. I wish Winchester would bring back the Sammy Sessions Memorial Race. I was usually the last race of the season in the Midwest. Weather created some problems so maybe an October date?

Billy, that is really cool, i did not know your middle names. i would love to see some of the photos sometime. thanks so much for the info.
