Nice move by Chad Layton taking out the most exciting racer of the night. Now I know what they mean when they say Laytonized. I'm just glad he damaged his car and couldn't continue.

Well ok.Maybe you MIGHT be right but from what I see rolling over on the left hand side had nothing to do with the fact that Layton drove his RR up over the top of Haud's LF and broke the stearing correct?The LF folded under.

Doty even commented on the broadcast as to how the car rolled over onto the left side when he first thought it had hit off the wall.

They also explained that the 13 that McMahan was in was a Buch 13 with help from Bernie at Indy Race Parts who owned the 71 that Paul drove at Knoxville.

Just messin' with ya Petey.. I didn't see it, but thats what I heard. Alot of bonehead moves....50,000$ on the line will do that or it might have been a full moon...

It was a full moon they showed a shot of it during the broadcast. Definitely a wild night, good tv to watch on a Sat. night.:2:
