Hey Larry, wouldnt it be great for the kids if Tony could get Jack Hewitt to bring his two seater to the 4-crown for kids rides. That would definitely get all the kids attention!

I think his drive to bring the new kids into racing will offend some of the old guys who love USAC racing but we have to get new blood into USAC.
Simple point is look at what drifting has done in the last few years since it started here. But we need kids to follow the racers kids and come to the races. The hardest thing will be creating images of the racers kids that people will see and notice outside of the track, like the X-Games.
We have an extreme sport and it will take marketing and promotion to create that with USAC.
Remember when USAC had Thunder lots of people would go out of their way to race a TV race, because ESPN gave them National attention.
I think Kevin is talking a lot but he is working wide open with meetings with potential sponsors. In the past remember we had big sponsors like West Virginia and the FFA ???
Kevin Miller is on another level than most and can talk the talk and walk the walk with big companies. Look at what he did with MOPAR. Check out www.Mo-Pod.com for some of what he has in mind for USAC race highlights. There are enough video guys here and around to where a weekly pod-cast of USAC events could be done very easy. Kevin knows the internet is only going to get bigger and that is the place to reach USAC new fans.

Look at IOW's members and you will see a lot of people who have joined that are big in the racing world and more join each day. All of you who have joined or just visited as a guest get to throw out your ideas and track operators, Drivers and sanctioning bodies read those ideas.

Kevin also said on our show that he use to run the SOD series long ago.

Look for the THAT dates to be announced soon. I hope the new group pits the sprint, midgets and silver crown cars in the infield like they use to. That will give the fans a reason to tour the infield and meet the stars and cars of the sport.

Speed gets more hits than RFR? Yes. But Miller's column? Probably not. Even so, I'd like to see Miller do something other than rehash old news.

I’d like to see the Respected Mr. Miller do some unbiased research on the pro’s and con’s of an unlimited engine rule as a cost cutting measure.
Thanks,
Don

In my biased and narrowminded opinion if all USAC needed was a "fine tuning" Mr. Kevin Miller would still be employed by Mopar.
