Drove 2 hours to hear that it was postponed.Took the kids up the road 4 min. and watched the 1/4 midgets run at Hulman Mini Speedway-http://thqma.com/ .Seems funny , we raced the whole nite,No rain huh. Seems like dejavu. the last time we were at the T.H.A.T.

It wasn't all about the rain. The fans were not there either and I bet that had a play in it. If you lived where it was pouring, would you have drove an hour or longer to chance it. Now HH did, but others didn't even try to make it out. Also the racers play in here. I think they could have had cars out there at 6 the way the track looked, but there was only 20 or less cars there. The points leader didn't even make it to the track until around the time they postponed it.

on the radar all afternoon, there was a mass of rain moving across I-70 in Illinois toward Terre Haute...

...why would drivers and fans coming from a few hours or more make that drive, I know I didn't

O'Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions Postpone Terre Haute Race until Sunday

Camargo, IL (9-26-2009) by Kelly Brown – Public Relations Director – As predicted rain hit the Terre Haute Action Track just at the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions and Midwest All Star Series race was getting ready to begin. The race will be run tomorrow Sunday, July 27th with hot laps starting at 4:00pm.

Ticket Information

Adult reserved grandstand tickets for the race are $25, with general admission grandstand running $20, bleacher seats running $15 and Adult infield running $10. A child’s reserved grandstand seat is $15, with general admission grandstand running $10, child’s bleacher and infield tickets are $5. The track is also offering a $25 family pack, which will get two adults and up to four children infield seats. For more information call 812-236-7951 or visit www.theactiontrack.com.

I didn't count the cars during qualifications, but 23 looks about right. Not a very big crowd at all.
