Jake,

Didn't mean to discourage your thoughts. I did leave out that MSA, ISMA, AVSS, HOSS and the other couple of winged pavement series could be included in this as well. Todd Turner is a walking encyclopedia of Dirt Late Model racing. I know Open Wheel Times, has a great database for results, and I have read some very intelligent posts on here from some well informed fans.

The difference between dirt and pavement, winged and non-winged, 305, 360, 410's, Supermodifieds, Silver Crown (champ car), midgets and sprints really dilutes "open wheel racing". I love all forms of it. Gather all of these cars, series, drivers, owners and fans together and you have something comparable in numbers to Dirt Late Model racing. Many of the fans on here are segmented (not that theirs anything wrong with that.) It is a lot to keep up with.

I am headed to the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals (winged 360's on dirt) this weekend at Ohsweken Speedway. $9,000 to win, 57 pre-entries from 6 provinces and 6 states. Should be some good racing.

James

No....but thanks for asking. We just like the part between the green & checkered although I'm sure you'll find many good customers here plus the free ad space. This might be a good time to thank all the oldtimers for thier dedication to the sport. Thank you gentlemen one and all. Steve & Christie Bloomington

I would be in favor of this new website and would pay $5 month like DOD. I have been saying since introduced to DirtonDirt.com that a Sprint Car version is needed. Message boards like IOW are great, but not the same as live updates with news and notes, plus other great video updates and stories that are posted on dirtondirt.com. Press releases get to be so boring. Lets hear the other stories.

The message board on Hoseheads.com is the worst thing for promoters, teams and series. A bunch of complainers. IOW is much better, but nothing like a Sprint Car version of DOD. 4m.net still exists for the Dirt Late Model Community and IOW could have its place with the non-wing fan base.

Quite true- most of the information suggested is already available from multiple sources for free. I don't see your plan working out
