DWB, as you most likely won't even be there, why stir the pot?
Actually Randy, I will be there all three nights for your information.

It must kill you to read that.

Acutally I have made it out to several events this year. When things go right I give praise, when things go bad I won't give praise.

Can't wait for the sprints there... All we need is for Kevin and Tammy to realize what potential they have to run a couple non-wing sprint shows a month or weekly there next year with Danville doing lord knows what. When you put non-wing sprints with the Powri Midgets and Micros it is a fantastic show. What do you think Kevin?????

Can't wait for Gold Crown!!!!! Count me in

When signing in for Tri City Speedway's open practice Thursday 9/17/2009 Tammy Gundaker
told us that they are considering adding non wing sprints to Thursday nights show and asked
us to spread the word. Adding sprints to Thursday's card is contingent on enough racers
calling to commit to the extra night of racing.

Answer Don Moore's Question:

410 Non-Wing Sprints are added to Friday's Event as a sponsored event the Purse is more because of a Sponsor

Entry Fee: Same as last year
Pre-Enter $100.00
Late Entry $150 (only if your late - deadline Oct 1st)

Tow Money has increased this year for all 3 nights

The event is ran the same as last year and EVERYONE has the same equal opportunity to make the event
every night. We don't look at this event as a USAC event. We look at this as an event that we will make bigger
each year and make it as great as we can for the drivers and the fans.

Last year both USAC and POWRi worked good together and the event went well.

We have taken away no positions (not sure what you ment there). We added cars to the field last year then the original 24 that were scheduled

Tri-City Speedway

410 Non-Wing Sprints

Tire Rule:
Right Rear DT 3 Only

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks you for the response about the details of the promotion.

I e-mailed you several days ago about the B main payout. I'm confused with what you have posted on IOW and your e-mail response. Here's what I read on IOW several weeks ago:

"B-Main Pay Out All 3 Days - (All Classes)"

I've read your entry blank and all your literature that you've made public and I have yet to see what the B main payout is. Please tell me where I can find that. Your response in the e-mail to my B main payout question was $50 for Thursday and Friday, $100 for Saturday. Now I'm reading tow money. ????? B main payout/tow money????? These are two very different things. Last year there were C mains. Do the C main participants get nothing? If there are 32 cars that don't make the A main, do all 32 owners get 50/50/100 payout (actually 25/25/50 after the driver is paid) or just the B main owners?

"We have taken away no positions (not sure what you ment there). We added cars to the field last year then the original 24 that were scheduled"

My original comments about the number of starters were based on your own information that you haver published and what historically took place last year. Your literature this year specifically says 24 starters for all three nights this year, not 28, four less than last year. 28 cars started the A main last year. If 4 more were added, that's great ( not great for the non USAC cars if the 4 are USAC provisionals which I suspect they are).

"We don't look at this event as a USAC event".

REALLY!!!! Then why are they there and why are you advertising it's a USAC event?????? I don't get it! The fact is that 20 of the 28 cars that took the green flag last year for the Saturday $15,000 to win main were USAC cars/drivers. That leaves 8 non USAC cars on the track and 32 non USAC cars in the pits.

Kevin, you and your wife are very good hosts for this event and I told you so in person last year while the event was taking place. But if I'm going to travel 550 miles with my expensive equipment to St. Louis, pay a potential $415 at the back gate, and take home a $50 (last year) total for entertaining/along with a driver risking his life for your capacity crowd, I need to know exactly what to expect this year before I enter again.

Thanks,

Don Moore
