Couldn't agree more, the track was FAN-TASTIC!!!! Sure it took a little extra to roll it in but i will take that ANY day of the week over what we've had in the not-to-distant past there. The later start time also had something to do with it, the less cars running on the track when the sun is out the better! They spent all week (litterally) getting it ready and i hope they do the exact same thing every time from now on!

I really enjoyed the evening, good racing, good track and saw a lot of friends.

My question is, why did they say hot laps would start at 5PM? They did not start till 6:30PM. Is this a scam to sell more burgers or was there another reason?

Why did they not say up front, hot laps at 6:00PM, qualies at 6:30PM and racing at 7:30PM? I am sure they probably upset a few newbies. If you advertise hot laps at 5:00 PM, then do hot laps at 5:00PM.

I do not care I was there at 4:00PM for a lot of tail gateing and had a great time. But the newby may not come back because of the delay.

Hot laps were delayed because the track was WET! Could you not see that, even after hot laps started? They dumped a ton of water on that bad boy, which ended up giving us the start time that should have been advertised all along. The track was greasy early, but it was really good as the night wore on...and with just the slightest bit of urgency in running the show, it would have been over quickly.

Terre Haute....One division show...Hot laps at 6:30 or 7....Run it efficiently and be done by 10 or 10:30.

The problem is that mike king likes to let everyone know what a fine job he is doing.instead of all the down time they should not be so afraid of losing a dollar & have one support class.then we would not have to listen to the funky chicken band or what ever there name was.one class or two they will still kill the clock because of all the bs.the bs gets pretty boring.
Lets race ( something ) i don`t care what it is.we need something on the track besides them slow ass wreckers.
Otherwise good evening & good track.
Now if i could find the person who stole my bike.

A+ on track prep. Visited the track preparer. I was very impressed to see the Sprints roll the track
in. Just like the old days. Great Job Mike-Davey and staff. Looking forward to the "Hulman Classic"
in 2010. I was all smiles at 3:15 when I arrived to see the tracked ripped up very well with water trucks
dropping water.
Best Regards,
John
