Was it a good race with a good track surface at Mercer or was it dry slick follow the leader like Big Diamond?

Big D should be embarrassed with the track conditions they gave USAC. Then they dropped ARDC for those Speedsters and still charged us $25.00 to get in. *** was Big D thinking? If you thought the new Silver Crown Cars were ugly then you haven't seen a Speedster. Now that's ugly!

Doesn't any track back east know how to prepare a heavy track anymore?

What ever happened to letting the racecars do the wheel packing?

Even if they do get some moisture into the clay they pack it so tight with push trucks & big ass tank trucks that it rubbers down immediately, then it's dusty & slick. Promoters back here haven't done their homework. They don't understand that non wingers are huggy pole follow the leader on dry slickies. Those garbage tracks are OK for Lead Sleds & Winged Sprints but not for "Real Sprintcars".

I'm with Pine, I'm sorry everyone from out of state had to endure those terrible track conditions at Big D & Mercer.
