Nice job Stephanie!!! So is there any word how Hines did on his come back? I know he'll be a little rusty but it won't take long before he's ready to go!!!

In reguards to the USAC National Series "not running" transponders. I believe you may be misinformed. The USAC National Series, specifically the Silver Crown division I know for a fact has been running transponders and the AMBit system since 2005. They have been using the iCard system at the track for fans and teams to read their lap times since 2005.

In 2005 USACLive.com provided live timing and scoring using the same software that the Champ Car World Series uses. USACLive.com also provided stories and photos from the track. It even provided live commentary and audio for select races just like the IRL and CCWS. It was free for fans at home to view.

As to why it is not posted on mylaps, I don't have an answer. I don't work for USAC.

If you would like to see the information on mylaps, drop a nice letter to the powers that be at USAC detailing the following:

What it is, How it works including a plan on how to get it done and finally offer up your services to help them utilize this technology that fans, teams and sponsors will enjoy.
