I would be willing to bet you have no idea what was paid for the track, therefore you would have no idea how much money would be made. T Stewart has NEVER tried to buy the track, NEVER. It's people like you who get on here spouting off lies, that you have no factual information to back, that make it hard to believe what you read on a thread.

There has been a lot of rumor and innuendo when it comes to LPS, over the last five or six years or so. Much of it has to do with wishful thinking. People look at the place and realize that if it was owned and operated by someone who cared, it could be a serious racing hot spot. Located right on a major highway, right between two large cities with big racing fan bases. The track configuration is one that lends it's self to raciness and there isn't a bad seat in the house. It's just a case of many people wishing Tony or anyone for that matter, would buy it and save it. As it stands right now, it's kind of like the Ryan Leaf of Indiana dirt track racing. A waste of a tremendous amount of potential.

Come to think of it your right. It's a waste. Let Allison completely run it into the ground. I'm happy to drive 100 miles to L'Burg or VCS than 25 to that dump. And yes....Stewart did make him an offer.

Gotta love the racing rumors just like 3 years ago when keith ford bought rutnamvile.....and steve kinser bought paragon and was gonna make it totally opposite 3/8th track etc etc.....i gotta agree with bill about lincoln park stone co...that was even talk when mike farrar had the track...i dont know how many people has acutally been up to the stone co at the top of the pits but its huge its only about 400 ft off of turns 3-4 so i could just about see this coming ..........

I agree the burg is the nicest track i have ever been to and I have been to alot. However, paragon and VCS are closer to the guys that run at the rutt. It takes me almost 2 hours to get the burg vs just over a hour to vcs or paragon
