Robert's contact was not limited to other cars. He tried to knock the wall down a couple of times.

I don't believe Robert was guilty of intentional rough driving... I think he was guilty of racing his a$$ off trying to get to the checkers, which he almost did. I have to admit, he sure is fun to watch...!

LOL, Thats like the pot calling the kettle black Heres swindell/ballou curtosy of highvista.

Sorry can't find clip but Swindell was going on and on about how Robert blocked him on the final lap of the 2007 MSCS Burg Nationals.

I believe that was the second time Ballou put the slide on in the feature. the first time he backed out

Geez to hear some of you this whole "racing" concept should be polite and lady like. Maybe we should post a list of who gets to take turns going first in the races? "oh no robert you got to go first last time its cummins turn this week so you have to let him in front".

I thought the point was to race... Besides he cleared him...there was no contact and Kyle had options to make a move and block him. Also btw saw cone and ballou talking after the show and things seemed fine so he wasn't upset.

Not saying that at all...he was far from clear and the only option Kyle had was to bail out...he got pinned 3/4 of the way through 1 and 2...with the slick track, there was no way to diamond the corner at that point in time because it was such a bonzai move. I'm sure u are an unbiased fan...this being your first post and all. I have nothing wrong with earning your spot, but it was a dirty move. As far as hud and Ballou...hud wasn't happy when it first happened because he drove up beside Robert after he was pushed off and gestured. Anyway...thanks for your opinion...everyone is entitled to theirs.

I agree...I dont think it was intentional, I guess I am just a fan of the fastest car and best driver winning. I hate to see slidejobs gone wrong and unfortunate breaks. I guess thats why I was never a fan of Dale Earnhardt.

I think Robert was the faster car and I know he's the better driver But it was a boneheaded move

I like em both don't get me wrong. But I know robert doesn't have an unlimited budget either and doesn't want a car tore up. If he made a move I would bet he thought it was clear. If it had been ballou and darland I bet darland would have gave him the spot but then set it down low to drag race him on the straight to pass him back. Kyle didn't do that. But they're both good drivers and it was a great race.

ok...I'll give you that. We all had different vantage points...and I don't think anybody was cutting underneath anybody on that track after they had committed to the top. I wish Chris Nunn would post the rest of the video so we could set this debate to rest

I agree to disagree about the car thing...and as far as the better driver...yes, he has had a more prominent career. Atleast you saw the move the way I did...he is a heckuva driver tho. i'm always excited to see him in the pit area at any track.

I have no dog in this fight.... but 99.9% of this board likes and respects Dave Darland..... so I would ask this question.

If DD was in Kyle's spot, what would DD have done? Or Stanbrough.... Cottle.... any one of those drivers?

Robert is a hard charging driver..... I think everyone knows that. In that situation I don't see him lifting.... and he didn't. I know Kyle is as good a driver as Ballou. I really don't think Kyle would have lifted had the roles been reversed. Purely my opinion.

Honestly, haha I think most anybody else would have stayed on the gas and we would have seen a reinactment of the Hunter-Ballou incident at Kokomo a couple weeks ago. Thanks for your input Don. Saw ya at Florence and u looked all business . Thanks for the work u put in.
