Since you obviously weren't there Joe then why the rabble rousing. Are you just bored and looking to stir up trouble. I will guarantee 99% of the people enjoyed it. For 40 degree weather it wasnt too bad a crowd. Was it a WoO crowd? No but it never is but that has nothing to do with the quality of the racing. Please go over to Hoseheads or go kick the dog or something and quit trying to start sh@# here. We have enough idiots on here who start crap around here because they dont know any better we really dont need you here doing it on purpose.

1. The found the races to be pretty decent. They did get a little spread out at times but there was some really good racing and slide jobs.

2. The dust was not bad. We sat in Turn one. THe dust seemed to blow that direction. I did not feel compelled to take a shower when I got home so the dust was fine.

3. I though the crowd was small but decent considering the weather, cool/cold, and the economy.

It was extremely nice that the carried over over the fan club night. I saved $8 by being a member of DARF. A $10 ticket was good deal.

Hey John I expect that out of the vp of harf. To bad they got an idiot for vp. That should help their membership. I would much rather pay the full price than belong to harf. I deal with facts not hype. "PROUD NONMEMBER OF HARF".

I thought the track was good, and the racing was excellent. I did think the crowd was down a little for opening night. I liked the idea of only 2 classes, even though I am sure that cost them at the back gate.

I sat in four and the dust was pretty thick. I did notice it didn't get down the other end too much but I was using the wind blocker which was the turn four Lake wall.

The racing, Some of the best I've seen ever Wang or not.

The crowd, Actually better than I expected for having the first night cancelled Guess? 4000.
Car Count, Very good for Eldora IMO and some interesting racers like Trey Robb from OK and a few others but a stellar field with a few missing for whatever reason. Yelley included.

Great to see the Shortbus and Lloyd.

Was super nice of Eldora to carry over the CLub discounts then on top of that. Let everyone into the pits from 330 to 430. THANKS!

Chuck

I thought all in all it was a very good night!
Good racing action, very respectable crowd size considering the weather and lack of promotion.
In the heat Brady Short had it hooked up enough to pull a monster wheelie nearly the full length of front straight! COOL!
Terrible crash for Hagen, I found it .......ironic that the helicopter landed only minutes before his SPECTACULAR crash.

And last I learned, no matter how hard you try, Tony has more beer to sell, than a normal person can drink!
Woke up in the parking lot at 7:00 am with frost on the windows AND MY ASS! I was frozen!
So, I am pretty sure I had a really great time.
Can't wait for 70 degrees this Friday at Bloomington and I AM NOT taking ANY beer with me, I am just now feeling human again. :headbang
