Within a half mile of Gas City there is a Holiday Inn Express, Super 8, and a Comfort Inn. You would have about a 30 mile trip back from Kokomo but it would be a good choice if you wish to stay at the same place for three days.

I have no doubt Gregg will certainly make a note of how you would like to see 2008 ISW series formated!

Me personaly, if it ain't broke don't "try" and fix it! Last years format was just fine and I saw some of the best racing in the U.S. just the way it was!

What I saw wasn't bad, But a normal show with 6 heats, Two consis and 40 cars running at least two races each beats it IMHO

Im Just saying Midget week had 50 car average. 5-6 heats at each show, Two consi's and some hellacious racing going on in the heats They didn't stop at 3rd because many times, THIRD WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH. If its guaranteed a top 4 make the A. There is no extra incentive for someone running in a locked in possition to move forward.

I understand USAC's format. Its for their Series racers. At a normal USAC show this works fairly well (32 Locked) Because mainly not many *Outside teams* attempt them anyway.

Could you imagin\g Sprint Week with 100 car following and nothing else on the card? make the format where everyone has a chance and I believe it's possible.

I'll go to some SW shows but like I said after this years. IT COULD BE BETTER and after MW shows, that showed me HOW MUCH BETTER IT COULD BE! :thumb::thumb:

Chuck, I can imagine world peace, but I doubt that's gonna happen any time soon and hopefully neither will a change in format.

Just because YOU don't like qualifying, doesn't mean you are the in the majority. I would love to see an honest poll on qualifying.

Everybody has an opinion, (like other things everyone has), and it is my opinion that midgets are midgets and sprints are sprints. There is no valid reason to treat them the same, after all, how manys locals did this format you so disire to change to, help to make the MIDGET show?

We can agree to dissagree. What I say isn't law, A dictation or a boycott. It's about seeing the best show possible.

Qualifying at times is very entertaining. Others I find it quite boring. I don't hate it but often track conditions more than a drivers ability and equiptment determine who gets where. (Im not saying that to be derogitory to any team or driver) Sometimes the tracks better at the end, Sometimes the beginging. Sometimes it's good for nobody which also equals the field and actually exploits a team and drivers actual abilities.

I would like to see Sprint Week points kept seperate from all other points and if any provisionals are granted, let that be based on points during Sprint week. Actually, Stanbrough won Sprint Week this year, if Darland wouldn't have got a provisional the last night! I would just like to see every team have the same chance as the USAC guys and lets see who the best is during Indiana Sprint Week!

With the price of gas likely being 4 a gallon next summer nationwide I think it is a great idea to have two night shows at these tracks.

Might get a higher car count.

Lawrenceburg didn't have a Midget week show in 2006. IIRC Midget Week consisted of only Gas City and Kokomo last year.

Lawrenceburg was a part of the inaugural Midget Week in 2005. They had 41 cars (not 22), 5 heats with passing points, a semi and a feature which Jay Drake won in the Kunz #67 after leading all 30 laps.

The reason you remember the number 22 is because I think that is how many fans showed up for the Thursday night show.

I was one of them and it wasn't well attended. It probably was 05 Sandy.
