What I mean is, will Silver Crown include some of the smaller pavement tracks like IRP and utilize the older silver crown pavement car? OR - will Gold Crown go to the smaller pavement tracks with Silver Crown being exclusively dirt

Silver Crown will stay as it is now. Gold crown will focus on larger ovals and yes road courses. The Gold Crown cars will be looking at running 1 mile and larger tracks. If the opportunity comes along we would run smaller tracks it will depend on what the tracks desire is.

Hey USAC, how about building a purpose built modern day ROADSTER for the Gold Crown series instead of a Frankinstein version of a Champ Dirt Car? Several years ago Panoz was racing a front-engined sports car with all the latest technology. The roadster was the most popular pavement car of all time! I was reminded how cool they were when I recently watched one of my old ESPN racing tapes from the early 80's.

The idea is to use the 24+ cars that are already built.
