A legend in broadcast journalism who will never be replaced. His distinctive voice commanded the attention of millions of people for news and commentary, as well as the rest of the story. RIP Paul.:crying:

Eric, today's Arizona Republic ran a lovely 2001 picture of Paul and his wife, Lynne, at their Biltmore home with Piestewa Peak in the background. One can only imagine how lost he must have been after Lynne's passing May 3, 2008 from leukemia. They were married in 1940, what a lifetime full of memories they must have shared. R.I.P. Paul & Lynne, united once again.
I used to love Pauls mid day news and commentary and then "the rest of the story" in the evening when I was trucking. He really had a way with the radio.
