What is the problem with Tom and Tri-State speedway.

Helfrich was upset with USAC after they decided not to schedule against the Firemen's Nationals at Angell Park. In doing so, that took away the sprint car race they had sanctioned at Haubstadt in 2006 on Saturday night before Du Quoin.

Obviously, he was at least partially over that when he scheduled the midgets there in 2007 and again in 2008, but when POWRi and USAC couldn't get along, he pulled the plug on both of them for that date.

I'd heard from Jim Siner at the Chili Bowl that the possibility of a co-sanction at Haubstadt was there, but I still haven't seen anything yet...

Aero - That TBA was directed solely at Lernerville. As you may have seen, the All-Stars got that date. Bad break. They're not going to stay in Central PA and run against Williams Grove, and they're not going to run in Lernerville's territory when they're trying to get back in there. It just didn't work out...

I doubt Lernerville, Canandaigua, or any WRG managed property are in the USAC's future. WRG views them as direct competition now.
