I'm a big fan of Haubstadt's Double Cheeseburgers... and overall Gas City's lineup is tough to beat...:thumb

I liked Oxford Plains back when "Papa" Bahre owned it. They had very reasonable prices, and they sold a LOT of food. Went downhill, and very slow after Mike Liberty bought the place, and the current ownership as well.

Lebanon Valley was much like the Bob Bahre OPS days last time I was there. There is always a line, and yet the line moves at a rapid pace. People go there to eat as much as watch the races

Also liked Silver Springs (RIP) as well

Sometimes I wonder why some track owners dont take some time away from their own tracks to see what other successful owners are doing.

Yeah, those are good, but they are fried. The only place that you can get a tenderloin sandwich of any kind down here are at the two Culvers, but those are way north of where I live.

Enthusiastic agreement with racephoto1 about the burritos at Manzy. I also agree that Gas City is very good. Anywhere that has ice cream in the summer, but, sadly, most tracks don't carry it. Temperature in the upper 90s for ISW and no ice cream. Go figure.

I was going to try the "famous hot dogs" the announcer kept talking about at Perris, but I thought that $7.50-8.00 was a tad too much for a tube steak.

I think both Lawrenceburg and Eldora have good food for very fair price. Love Eldora's chicken wings:thumb
