Yeah, maybe they should. 40 pre-entered.

The IL state fair is worth going to just for the food. Throw in a USAC race right across the street from the food pavilion and it becomes one of the highlights of every summer.

I haven't been since 2015 because of the drive time from Evansville. But I enjoyed it when I went. I would never badmouth it. We need to support the mile tracks or they will be gone. I've been to every Ted Horn 100 since 1965 and I always find something to enjoy. DuQuoin is totally different atmosphere from Springfield. More rural, or country, in my opinion. Track surface and configuration is totally different as well.

This isn't boring no matter what anyone says.
Bryston was down a cylinder. Used the AJ line got the lead back twice after losing it. You can hear the crowd when she clears Leary

100% Charles...

No, this isn't a sprint car race on a high banked quarter. Strategy is involved, taking care of your tires and car in that first half+ of the race. If they don't tear up a lot of stuff in hot laps, there should be a semi and just making this race is going to be something to watch. Wouldn't miss it

Kody Swanson is very good at understanding that the money is paid out after the 100 miles, not after Hot Laps and Qualifying
