4m,a very reliable source🤔.When it was TCRP,Rockcrest,Vernon whatever its name was at the time,to me it appeared then it was on life support.
Wasn't too bad when they had ISW Races,after that,think I went there once.
A racetrack closing in this day and age is never a good thing. Once they close they rarely re-open, and new ones aren't exactly popping up all over the place.
I’ll always remember my first trip there on July 24, 2001 when the drunk fell over the edge of the property at the back which borders the Muscatatuck River and they had to stop the races to bring him back up.
On my next visit, July 22, 2002, the race was stopped for the accident between Dickie Gaines and Jack Hewitt, which seriously injured Hewitt.
Those were ISW races.
