Over the years I've attended a few NHRA events. Because I now limit my personal attendance at races to sprint car, midget, or SC events, I seriously doubt that I will ever attend another drag race. But I will very likely watch many more on TV. Cruz Pedregon made a comment in a conversation we had at the Chili Bowl about the fact that whether they drive dragsters, sprint cars, or whatever, they are all race car drivers. While I concur that the HARF award really should go to "one of our guys", I can understand why Tony's unreal AA/F domination this year has lead to his name being placed on the ballot.

Am I missing something? Brad Sweet by my count has 6 USAC midget wins Knoxville,Knoxville, Belville, Lawrenceburg, Tri City, Tri City. Plus add the winged events that he won and he has 10 or 11 total wins this year plus the 360 Trophy Cup title. The kid can wheel
