Looks like it may have been a pretty good show. Were all the cars in the midget feature full midgets or did they fill in with Focus and Kenyon? The crowd appeared to almost be non-existent.

We had Kenyon and Focus cars in the field as we usually have. Last year Blake Fitzpatrick won the event in a Kenyon Car.

I had the track widened out more than last year. All the divisions had good racing, and the 600s always put on a good show.

One 600 driver to watch for in the future---- Erick Rudolph from Ransomville, NY.

He dominated the karts , and is now just as fast in a 600. He won three east coast modified races in two days in early October.

From the original post by Wendy

"Sharing the spotlight with Stanbrough were Billy Murphy, who won the 600cc non-winged modified midget 50-lapper after Erick Rudolph crashed, and sprint car veteran Matt Westfall, who came from the back to win the Slingshot by Tobias feature. Zack Riddle doubled in karts."

I think Matt started on the pole for the Slingshot feature and led every lap.

Big Jim. I tried to reply to your PM sent to me, but you have your Control Panel set so that PM's cannot be replied to. Not sure if you knew that??

Check out some of the photos on www.rumbleseries.com. Click on the message board.

Matt did start on the pole and I, Jim Morrison, did screw up in relaying the information to ron.

Having watched the video, I was surprised to see only one car drop out of the race.
