I'd go easy on reeserx for that call, 17. I thought exactly the same. Max climbed the Turn 2 wall early on and that was when DD threaded the needle and took the lead. Later on, I thought I saw Max get the wall again and shortly thereafter slowed to a stop. To the novice, it looked like the second clout did him in.

Prior to that, however, he pulled off a slick slider in 1 & 2 and got the lead back for half a lap until DD dropped down low in 3 & 4 and got it back on the front stretch.

But if you say fuel was the issue, by golly.... fuel was the issue then. Too bad that was the cause. An odd way to go out with the number of laps run. I was pulling for Max tonight after seeing him give it a go with the wing at the King's Royal a few weeks back.

After the second time hitting the wall jumping the kushon or whatever you guys are arguing about he stopped on the back stretch and pulled out what looked like to be a visor off somebody's car from underneath his car

Im assuming Max17M might actually be Max. Not sure but would seem like it based off the screen name. Was he in the Pedersen car?

Max was running his own car with limited tools and equipment. They got a bit behind the 8 ball and just forgot to add fuel before the feature,a lesson I'm sure he won't forget. I'm proud he was contending for a win the 1st night out.
