we raced under Badger Racing. Badger being my long time knickname.
"Badger EngineSports", kinda not so bad.
Engine builders build engines though.

All in fun. I'm just Jonesin' (more than usual) because it's looking about 90% that I won't be ready by tomorrow...

Hey Bob

I'm really close, motor, er, engine, is in , plumbing is done, axles are in and squared. I hit a snag last week with the harness, sent out a cry for help on here that nobody replied to but after an IM on FB, Andy Bradley hooked me up with Mike Garvey in Louisville and we traced wiring diagrams over the phone to no avail so I sent it down to him for rehab. He got it done yesterday and it's somewhere in Priority Mail Limbo working its' way up I-65, but if it's not here tonight I'm throwing in the towel for this weekend, especially with Montpelier going off 2 hours early this week. Once I'm dialed in I'm hoping to make some of Jay's shows when they don't conflict, maybe a few of the USAC Indiana series too .

Lookin good as usual, I did that for about the first 3 seasons, then decided it wasn't worth the time and money, so I just keep it as clean as I can, and from 10ft away, who knows, and ya got the right color on it too! Hope ya make it this weekend, but if ya don't, there's always next week. or next time. Bob

Thanks Bob. I did the tank with Rustoleum rattle cans 3 years ago, it's held up remarkably. I did get a new nose and hood for this season though and plan on putting some DIY half wrap scallops on them, but if by a miracle or two I get out this week it'll be the old stuff with yellow 200mph tape repairs.
What can I say? I grew up going to Ascot, in my mind Open Wheel race cars are supposed to be pretty.

Jim

I caught that compression bent ex pipe on your call. Didn't your daddy tell you that that killed all your horsepower.

Nice to see that you are still engaged in the great Motor-Engine debate.

I think that's how they came from Rosson; all I know for sure is that's how it was when I got it, and the big ol muffler can ends up right on top of my nerf bar, so that's OK.
As far as the "great debate" goes, I'm glad there's 3 series in the area now where I can let the Peregrine Falcon hunt. Choice is a good thing.

#6 describes my car perfectly.
we both have too much time on our hands.
The entire reason I started the engine thing was to get DAD worked up.
Too bad about not being ready, it happens.
All this talk got me working on my car, I forgot how much I love her.
