What some of you may not know is that most of these same cars ran IL speed week 3 days before starting IN midget week with just 3 days off I think some guys have sprint car rides else where and maybe wallets may have been getting thin too But from what I have heard it was a great race

Everyone knows what they say about opinions! Sorry but anybody who straps in a race car of any type is no wimp! I have said this before that more cars doesn't necessarily make it a better show. I was at Bloomington Friday they had 44 midgets and it was a great show and long because of qualifying. I watched the highlights of the burg midget week show and all the slide jobs and action looked awesome. Big Track, Small Track, 40 cars or 20 cars your at a R A C E T R A C K enjoy yourself and don't sweat the small stuff that's totally out of your control.

How many cars did you show up with? You gotta understand most of us work to pay for our racing. So the almost 8 hour drive over there for us from illinois with a 65% chance of rain just didn't make sense. So before you call us wimps get out your wallet, you wimp and sponsor us and we will be at every race.

Should of offered to pay the "wimps" to come race instead of getting on here and ******** about it. 99% of the time it costs more money to show up and race than it does to sit at home. Honestly people wonder why car counts are dwindling down. If you can't even get some respect from the fans why show up? So next year put your money where your mouth is

You gotta love the chair jockeys at home running their mouths, but not putting together a car, get sponsors, and pay for everything before you even get to the track!

The best thing that ever happened to any sprint car drivers career in the last 25 years is that I pursued drumming instead of driving.

In other delusional fantasies, I gotta run. My wife Carrie Underwood, needs help with the laundry...

Well I was at the Illinois speed week. I few things I would think about. The tracks are small, but they wind the motors up and hardly let off of them for the whole race. That would have to be a lot of wear on them. All of the nights they had over 40 cars. I would have to think that was a lot of money the teams paid to race 4 nights in a row. The ones that did not make the A main I would think had very high cost each night. Plus they had to be free on weekdays, away from work. Most of the teams are west of Indy, more travel cost to each race. Plus it was not a race ever night. Most time on the road per race days.
