I do know that any lifeline transportation from the track at the time of any accident is covered under insurance. I do know the STIDA.COM covers this also. I am 90% sure that STIDA would cover any additional flights needed for transportation to special facilities or rehabiliation. I will be doing some more inquiries on this matter in the next few days to clarify what we do cover and what we do not.

I wish our organization had more money to promote STIDA.COM so we can get the word out to the local racer so that racers like Jeff, Kenny and countless others along with their families would not have to worry in tough times. Knoxville Raceway Charitable Organization (KRCO) has signed up every one of there local drivers this year at Knoxville Raceway with STIDA. Talk to your local track to see if they me interested in this. ...IF ANYONE has any questions regarding our company please go to our website at WWW.STIDA.COM or click on the banner at the top of the main page and you will find all the contact information including phone numbers and emails there. Now is the time to pass the word on!!!

Donation of a flight like that is a lot to ask of any commercial operator. The fuel still has to be purchased, the flight crews paid & the cost of eng time & other timed components absorbed. Anything > 10% discount comes right out of the operator's hide. It'd be great if something like that happens, but don't count on it.
We still need to donate.

Duke,

Our company is here to help the local racer, along with crew members and fans. All our welcome with us. I am sorry you feel the way you do. I would think since you were a past racer and witnessed the ugly of the sport you would be more understanding. You are right, this site is for the fans but so many racers, crew and family members read this site to keep up to date. If one of them read this and it helps them it is all worth it to me. It is a dangerous sport on the track, in the pits and in the stands so we cover it all. My wife and I run STIDA at nights and weekends. We both work full time jobs and we do this to help out our friends and the racing community. Next time you see your buddy Jack Hewitt ask him about STIDA and see what he says. I will leave it at that.

In victory lane interview at Williams Grove, Fri nite, Fred Rahmer said: "Jeff should fly back tomorrow." (& other encouraging words that indicate progress continues.)
"back" = a hospital in Baltimore, ~ :45 min from home & family.
