Taking care of your right rear has always been a priority in Silver Crown; one of the biggest reasons NASCAR started poaching guys like Jeff, Ryan, Carl and Smoke was because they learned how to conserve rubber, and not panic when a car got loose. They learned that by running 100-lappers with no pit stops on dirt miles...

At the drivers'meeting it was stated that no tire changing would be allowed under a red flag. The penalty was a loss of one lap.

Very enjoyable race! Brian Tyler really gave Randy Bateman's car a ride! Just a suggestion, I believe the forest growing in the infield in turn three would make an excellent wild game preserve. Otherwise, it should be removed, as it blocks the view of spectators sitting in the lower part of the grandstand. We didn't know what happened to Cockrum because he had his problem behind the trees. He was running third going into the turn, but was sixth when he came out.

I was up in row 30 and the view through the forest wasn't much better.

Not right taking American Racers out of a series they have been in for years and had much success. American Racers are more affordable for the racers and are very durable. Guess that wasn't figured into the equation.

Also would like to see a scoreboard that someone over 15 could read from above the 20th row of reserved seats and that would work for the whole race without rebooting. Probably the best race these old eyes have seen at ISF.

Cut down the trees!!! Please. What the hell are they for? They also need to fix the entrance to the track under the flag stand so fans can enter there after the races without having to be a ninja. And just wishfully thinking, send the sand back to the beach so they can really race again. Otherwise... good show. Now Bateman has no excuses lol. And how does Ricky Hood show up in the Fox 56? That's the strangest thing I think I've ever seen at a race. Junior Kurtz car didn't look too vintage to me so I'm still waiting to see a real champ car. Leary ought to give up #30 if they actually bring that out. I did like the teams' uniforms and Watson #7 paint scheme!

We conserved the whole race but just used to much rr on the green white checkered and blew the rr in the middle of 3and 4, oh so close but no cigar.

As far as changing tires, it has to be flat or its a one lap penalty. Cant have guys like me conserving and then have others just come in on lap 80 and get a rr without a major penalty. And goin to the back isnt a good penalty as its easy to pass the field against 95lap tires. Thats the entire point of being smart, figuring out how much to use or save.
