Talent means nothing without some degree of self-control. And this guy has none.

Was he talented? Yes
Did he piss away something most of us would give our left nut (or right) to be able to do? Yes

Maybe the jail time and time out of the car will be good for him if he can get his head right during the "break"

We've seen other drivers that have faced similar adversity in the past that straightened their lives out and came out on top. For instance, Shane Hmiel or Scott Bloomquist.

For his sake I hope he can finally figure it out, there's a lot of talent there just going to waste.
