Guess we got "Girl" T-bar stops and arms, we got 3/8" bolts and not a nut one on them things. I guess by leaving off the nuts they figured they could save five cents or so an arm and that stuff mounts up over time.

I got to thinking and you know this T-bar arm and stop safety things came about because they was using Ti bolts in the arms and stops and from what I heard that danged Ti would corrode up and gull up and make them think the bolt was the proper torque when it wasn't and the stuff would just slip off.

I prefer the old fashioned bolt and nut, and AN washer myself, too many "over achievers" in the camp anymore, I've seen guys cking bolts, that ALWAYS make it move, not realizing they are just wrapping it around the bar, and ruining any clamping, no wonder they lose stops and arms. BTW, most of these guys think the nearest place to get something fixed, is the ATM in the middle of the block, never try to learn or do anything for themselves, just count the money, that may be why a lot of them don't stay with it very long! DAD, that would be where they get things fixed, either on the way from, or to the repair shop, as long as there are funds in there, you can keep racing, when you get turned down there, you quit, and sell out! Bob
