i'll more than likely be on the front stretch, they stopped letting handicapt folks park in the backside for free/ I think i'll need to bring a chair with me to stop and rest my busted back on my way in, its a longass walk with no place to sit down and rest from the nearest handicapt parking space over there to the grandstands. management sure as hell isn't making many friends thus far this year, upping the cost of pit passes and charging for handicapt parking on the back side and yes still no onions and pickles!
I'm fairly certain that Lawrenceburg Speedway does not charge for handicap parking. Yes, if you want to park on the backstretch it will cost extra - that is considered premium parking, not handicap parking.
I believe there are plenty of places to park where you will only encounter hard surfaces (asphalt, concrete, etc.) from the moment you step out of your vehicle until you reach your seat. I'm not sure there are any other dirt tracks in the state of Indiana that are as handicap accessible as Lawrenceburg Speedway.
well up until last weekend the premium parking as you call it was free if you had handicap parking and it made life much easier for me, I have a busted back and copd as well as other issues making it very difficult to walk. I parked in the handicap parking on the front side last sat when they wanted to charge me to park where I'd been parking for free with the handicap parking ever since they made the track bigger/ and it was one very long and painful walk from that handicap spot to the ticket booth and then beyond to the grandstand

Mr. Rudisell,
I really have to give you credit where due. You are a promoter that "gets it". Your interaction with us fans on this board, facebook, etc. is to be commended. Though I travel regularly up to Waynesfield (cudos to their promotion team/staff as well), I try to get to Lawrenceburg a few times each season. Your track is one of the finest I've been to (over 100 in 30-some states) - a long way from the Lawrenceburg I went to for the first time in 1997 where the top few rows of the stands were roped-off for safety! Thank you for what you do for us and the sport! Jeff, Dayton

Mr. Brinson,
We also have the Turn 4 Gate, so, you would go to the left when you enter the fairgrounds. This is a gravel lot (right behind the main grandstand) , but, if you get there early you can park fairly close, and, it's a shorter walk right into the grandstands.
John, turn 4 gate is closer to the bleachers.I believe theres a consession stand at that end also should you feel inclined to reward me with a cool beverage for this fantastic bit of info
