Maybe sand bagging in the heats? Fast guy sucks in his heat but knows he will start up front in the b-main, make the race and get his time back!
:dologob:

Like K.T did. Last chance at running the track for the feature !
How many features did he win from the semi? A Bunch.

Hey if enough guys intentionally suck in the heat...........makes for one HELL of a B-main!

Speaking of sand-bagging, what do these numbers tell ya. If anything:

Tracey Hines: B-Main.................A-Main
Kamp.............1st.......................2nd
Kokomo..........1st.......................3rd
G-City............5th.......................6th
L-Burg............NO........................15th
L-Burg............1st.......................6th
B-ton.............9th........................16th

Nobody should get their time back for "RUNNING THE B-MAIN".

D.O...hit the nail on the head. They don't sand-bag time trials, they sand-bag in the heats'. At least ONE guy does....

I am sure that Brady Bacon sand-bagged his heat so that he could run the B and start up front. BTW how did that work out for him?

I know that was our intention in the heat when Jerry was attempting to pass on the outside and got fed a right rear for his trouble!

If you want to prevent the aledged sand-bagging do what they do out West...you can't start in the top six if you don't transfer through the heat.

The level of competition is extremely high during ISW. Only three drivers have made it through their heats so far. Why do you want to give the death penalty for having to run the B?

If there has been any sand bagging going on it's over now. The bags busted Thursday night and I wore most of it home.

Just an observation, of the top three -- Darland won the non-qualifiers race and then third in his heat.

Jerry Coons Jr., and Levi Jones made the feature through the B-main. So did Tracy Hines.

If there had been passing points, Darland would have cleaned up. But, then again, maybe none of the top dogs would have transferred through their heats.

One question, are points scored for finishing in a transfer spot in the heat races?

Have fun in Haubstadt tonight guys. Unfortunately, I have work to do here.

1) I don't think some driver's are good enough to sand-bag..
2) It looks like Hines don't put himself in a position to get fed a right rear in a heat race. He know's he has the B-main.
3) DING DING DING... We have a freakin' winner.
4) Why do you guys' always want to reward the top dogs?? If a Coons', a Hines' or Jone's can't race their way into the A Main through their heat, with the MONEY they have behind them, why penalize a smaller budget team that might be taking their spot, that RACED their AZZ off to qualify through the HEAT. TWO laps does not make a night of RACING.

Just My Humble Opinion:checkered:

I don't know why we get lumped into the big team category. I am driving a 20 year old toter home that we bought used in 1997. We won the last two nights of sprint week with a chassis tha is over a year old.

They invert the top 32 qualifers to give the "small teams" a chance but for some reason some of the posters on here believe that samll teams are somehow more worthy to be in the feature than "big teams". I always thought that racing was about competition not affirmitave action for slower competitors.

This was about sand-bagging, not affirmative action:O:. Which by the way I'm against....

Good luck to Jerry Coons Jr. and the Hoffman #69 Team tonight.......:checkered:
