As a veteran, I feel that thanking "The Greatest Generation" is especially important. Thanks to them I do not have to speak either German or Japanese. We went to the Air Force museum this past weekend to watch the public portion of the last Doolittle Raiders reunion. Well worth the trip!!
Longtime USAC midget owner Don Cumberworth is a friend I admire even more since I recently managed to get him to relate to us the story of his service in the Navy during World War II.

Since I found out about the dinners that are available, I try to take a new Vet with me each year, this year I took a Korean Vet, who had heard about it, but didn't think much about it, til I invited him and he really appreciated it, and now next year will invite one on his own, I've met a lot of people thru this very special event, and look forward to it each year, and want to thank those who "Step Up", and provide these events, it's a time to share experiences, and get to know one another even better. Thanks to all involved. Bob 116th Intellegence Corps Group(CIC) Washington, DC, 1961-1963.
