It's looking like I'll either be Kinkaid or Crab Orchard. I can't seem to find info on lake passes. In MO state owned lakes require you buy a pass that's usually good for 2-3 years and you can go to anyone you want. Army Corps, county, or city owned lakes usually require you buy their pass. What is the law in Illinois for Kinkaid and Crab Orchard? I'm sure there's a fee but I can't seem to find any info on it. I guess I'm gonna find a number for a marina. Thanks for the suggestions. I might try to check out the pond inside the track but I'm guessing there ain't much goin on in there. Here's one I caught from one of the ponds at the fair last year.

Just be careful of the large sink hole that surrounds Du Quoin. The locals call that sink hole: Illinois.
