They do not have non-qualifier races to eliminate contestants, they exist to provide an opportunity for those who do not qualify. If you are not fast enough you don't make the show as in all forms of racing. Owners and drivers all knew the rules before they showed up and yet there have been large car counts so apparently they are OK with the format. As a fan, whether there are 2 non qualifying races or 1 more heat with a C-main you still see the same number of races.
The NQ racing concept is as bad as NASCRAP's top 35 thing they had going. Everybody deserves a chance to race their way in. The car count should determine a certain amount of heats.
but/ by eliminating the non-qualifier races, we'll get to see all of the competitors in a heat race and a main (be it a c-main, a b-main or an a-main) it just seems discouraging to arrive at a track to hear there are, lets say 55 sprint cars on hand, and then see 15 of em vanish after their n-q heat races/ I for one enjoy c-mains, b-mains and a-main features with 20 - 24 cars in them (I also hate the 2 b-main system) thank the good lawrd usac must too, as they don't seem to use them!

...I must be missing something here, aren't you getting a chance to race your way in with a non-qualifier race? In the South, we call them hooligan races.
A non-qualifier race is in effect a C-main. You qualify out of the C-main into the heat races.
Let's be honest, you have two chances. If you can't qualify in the top 32 and can't finish in the top 4 in a race with no names and a few having problems, it's probably not going to get any better for you that night. Load up and let the top 40 race.
