That's the way it goes in April. This might throw a wrench into our plan of making the road trip but we didn't decide for sure yet. Just to tough for us to get off of work Monday on short notice. Not complaining, the right call was made.
Probably my fault on the rain. My wife and I were planning this weekend as part of our anniversary, and we seem to be cursed with rain on every significant event (First date, engagement, wedding, first anniversary).
I guess I have no choice but to take full responsibility
In looking at the radar, I'm more concerned about what is still headed this way. A lot of yellow and red on the map in Illinois and St. Louis area. Not so concerned about racing right now as I am for the safety of all who could be affected by this storm. Be safe. Tough night ahead.
Mike
Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante
For a few reasons this is no good. 1st, southern Indiana needs that rain more than the north. Wish it had settled about 100 miles south. I'd rather drive through rain and get to a dry track than the opposite. 2nd, while my schedule is pretty flexible, I can appreciate the dilemma of those who can't go on Sunday. 3rd, we Hoosiers may not be invaded by the Sprint Car Cheeseheads.
Tim, if you and company can't make we'll look for you next time.
