Just now getting around to looking at this more closely. I never made it to New Bremen to see any racing. I stopped over one day last summer when we were going to Eldora. Looked like a neat little place for sure. One that I am sorry I missed seeing.
One thing that no one else mentioned from your post was the qualifying. If I looked at this correctly, 8 drivers were under the previous track record. I did see that you posted that the track had been paved for the '67 season. Still quite a feat for that many to be under.
I always enjoy these trips from the past with you especially the ones I wasn't around here for. Keep 'em coming as the season is too far away yet.
