After last years debacle of a season, may hats off to Bob Sargeant for even scheduling Silver Crown races. It takes a lot of balls to do this,because his pocket is the one that goes empty if this doesn't work this season.

Also ,USAC needs to beat the bushes and kiss as much casual fan butt as they can. The diehard will always go, but the casual fan got kicked in the teeth last year. USAC has to do everything it can to win back the casual fans. It was their decisions that created the problems, they now need to make decisions that will try to solve them. Not everyone reads IOW , it's going to take a lot more then just posting here, or making announcements at IMIS.

I hope USAC can find a way to convince the Car Owners to come back after last year's disaster. Without decent car counts there won't be any reason for the casual fan to bother.
