Please don't take the trophy away until Cal is proven guilty of NCAA violations and not by the court of opposing fans, we all have our warts, I don't think we want to go there.

Did i say anything about a trophy....here let me make it easy for you...IU is ten times the team UK is at this very moment and wouldnt even make it a game with them...we are talkin twenty point spread minimum. There, now is it clear what i meant.

As far as im concerned every hoop is exsactly ten foot off the ground and the same diameter....fans dont make the ball go in...fans might make a person give more effort...but hey if thats what it takes to get it out of them then should they be playing D-1 ball for that caliber of a program anyway...lets face it, UK beat IU by less than ten in the sweet sixteen with 5 first round draft picks...while IU had zero...you dont think each program isnt looking at one another knowing where they are at and where they are going...my guess is cal knew it was time to give it a break for a couple years until he can get five more first round draft picks...such as 2013

Its not about the crowds and the rims, its about the arena capacity and how lucrative the tv contract is. Its the reality of college sports now. If IU didn't want to get on board and UK can find a more lucrative deal, that's how its going to go. Look at all the schools jumping conferences if you don't believe me. The big schools know how much money is at stake with college football and basketball.

Surely, you didn't expect Cal to play his 2nd team against the Hoosiers last year, I will say, I like a team with good seasoned, experienced players, rather than mostly rookies.
You are right about Cal taking a couple of years to recover,Looks like he will get thumped a few times this year.
UK & the Hoosiers will meet again sometime, it's a small world. Good luck in the meantime.
