The problem is that it IS broken. It's supposed to be the USAC NATIONAL series, not regional. Look at the percentage of races in IL, IN, and OH. Plus, $4000 to win? That's unacceptable.

Keep the time trials best part of the show.

Keep the Time Trials. To me the Trials and the heats are better to watch than alot of the features

I like inverting 8 cars for the heat races but if you have to run the b the best you can start the feature would be from seventh.
As for the eastern PA swing follow the same track lineups that they go to during there own speedweek out there and if they could really set it up would be to run the same shows they do only two classed non and winged racing same nights. Each night at every track they could do a Hewitt style bonus if you can win both features.
I would also like to see a ILL speedweek setup
granite city
pevely
red hill
danville
lincoln
canton
knoxville,IL
also a Ohio speedweek
attica
fremont
sharon
raceway 7
eldora

Southern states seem too far. If Indiana is the hub they should probably focus on the areas from MO to PA. They should have some sort of plan to expand in the next 4 or 5 years to become more of a traveling series like the WoO.

New Bremen is no longer sitting idle. It is gone, destroyed by the bull dozers last year.
And, unfortunately, I understand the track at Independence, Iowa, had a storm hit the grandstands. They have been condemned and the track has not been operating. Bet the old man that lives down on the corner is happy nowl.
In my opinion, USAC needs to run qualifications -- especially in areas where they have not raced before. It gives the fans a better chance to identify the driver's names with the cars. that was a big help for me when I started going to the races 35 years ago. Always keep in mind that each night USAC races there is someone in the grandstand who has not seen them before.

national tour doesn't mean squat. stay in the areas where you have a strong fan base. When you go to areas like CA for turkey night, try to get at least 2 or 3 other events to compliment that show. The biggest thing stay where your fans are. Schedule the other swings around big races. if you can get a race in PA paying 8,000 to win set a race before and after that event. Thats the easy way for you to keep the "national" status.
Qualifying yes you should keep it. After qualifying drawl a pill for the invert 1 thru 8. Take the strategy out of qualifying. if you don't transfer out of the heat race, you lose your qualifying time. Put the raceing back into the heat races, I hate watching guys cruz around.
