Not looking good for today...
As to the food, Springfield is bigger, but DuQuoin has 17th Street BBQ, best pulled pork anywhere!

17th Street BBQ was at Springfield too. I should have shown you where. If they get it in, have a good time. Wish I was there. Steady drizzle in Springfield this morning. The flat track AMA bikes are postponed till tomorrow.
For those about to rock, we salute you.

Wouldn't it be great if USAC or someone who is working the track update us on how things are looking on getting this race in today. If it comes down to it they might just wait too late for fans to start heading down that way. 2 hour up dates would help us out on our travels. If it would rain out what is PLAN B?

If attendance had been better for the last ten years, there would be a rain date, but it wasn't, so there isn't. The reason for lack of attendance is debateable. I wonder if they will reschedule ARCA if they get called tomorrow? Seems like it never rains on ARCA day.

I would go for the TWIN 100's not that I want to see ARCA but the last remaining Silver Crown guys want to race and I want to see them on the mile at Duquoin.
