So you'd pay to Race:

Pit pass
Entry fee
Lose a hundred from payout?
Spec right rear?
Is this correct?
If so, that's a heavy hit for one night!!
I'm not sure what the membership costs are, and what the payback would be.
Memberships $$$$ vary from:
Mech/crew......$150.
Super Lic........$900.
Entrant Lic......$250.,$350.,$500...thats depending on Division running.

They should give you an extra hundred bucks just for showing up since you are bringing a car to help fill the field.

That's right Tim. Sure would have been nice to see some locals run but now I can see why they didn't.

I'm not one that knows or takes the time to read any of the rules but it's no wonder why local guys don't want to run! I agree with you 100%.

Tim I'm sorry more guys didn't show up, but you can see why with the cost and I'm even more sorry that the drivers didn't stick around in the pits to sell shirts and sign autographs and talk to the people from up there since they don't get up there that often. This really bugs the piss out of me when the drivers make a race out of leaving the pits. I have kids and that's there favorite part of the night is meeting the drivers and more than half of them could care less it seems

Normally this is the way it would be. It was Wilmot that decided to run the 4 bangers and Mods after the sprint cars. Most of the teams stuck around in the pits at Angell Park after the fireworks were over to sign autographs and meet the fans. I think they were worried about weather in Wilmot, so they ran the sprints early to ensure they would get the main attraction race in. As far as car counts go. They have been lower any and everywhere. As far as I saw this weekend, it was quality over quantity. The Wilmot show was a barn burner, and probably the BEST race that track has seen since the last time USAC was there. I sure hope they come back!

I have had a super time this summer following usac all over Indiana racetracks. As the Kokomo speedway smackdown is coming this coming week. I am wandering is there a process that is used to create the sat night final Is the previous nights a qualifier for sat or is each night just a spearate race with no impact on the next
