Thats great, thats what i have been doing for years, if we only have 23 or so cars we start them all, it cost more, but in the end i think the racers like it. and it saves time and wear and tear on the cars.

When the promotor advertises what the purse is going to be he needs to stick with it. Might as well not even advertise a certain purse if it is dependant on the car count. It gets more and more expensive every year to fund a sprint car operation. Every little bit helps. I know the promotors have a tough job and are trying everything they can to make a profit or at least break even, but us racers have bills to pay to keep going. When promotors start pissing off the racers, the racers will quit showing up. When the car counts start to go down because of this, the fans will quit coming out.

Seriously, I can see the guys complaint and NO it shouldn't blanket promotors.

But i got the car ready, Track A says they are paying 800 if 20 cars.

Track B pays 800 no matter how many cars?

Im supposed to leave and just wish/pray 19 others show up?
