He was at the WoO Show Monday. He could come to the Legends Race since the MTQRL is not running Saturday. Btw, is Leon Thickstun, Danny Milburn, or Robbie Stanley in the Hall of Fame? Why are there not any memorial races for Danny, Robbie, or Leon's son Jeff anymore. They were all great drivers and great racing families too!

Maybe you should check out the Legends of Lawrenceburg wall sometime, its located in between the bathrooms over top the drinking fountains. The USAC Sprint week show is a Robbie Stanley Memorial Race.

Heck, there could be a memorial race every week of every year. Calvin Gilstrap, Stan Bowman, Hugh Randall, Danny Milburn, Cecil Beavers etc. and anyone else that has raced successfully at L'Burg and has since died. However, the memorial races would just become the "norm" rather than the Special Night that they should be. How many "memorial" races should one track have in a given year?

That's what this Legends of Lawrenceburg race is all about.....it is to honor all of those who have helped make the Lawrenceburg Speedway the "The Legendary Lawrenceburg Speedway" ....for those in the past, present, and who have left us. The reason for the $8 admission is what the price was to get in back in the day.

So, if you know families of those legends, let them know about this race. It should be a great night!!!

Kinda misread your post, Greg is always invited, he works for the MTQRL
as a race director and is usually doing that on saturdays. I miss seeing him.
Thanks for the response Dave. Didn't know that and since I live in Spring Hill Florida I haven't seen the wall of fame. But, I will be there for Sprint Speed Week though.
