Bloomington Rules! They don't spend all night on the track with tractors just to have the exact same race track after all the work is done. But on the other hand you have to give Helfrich credit, he can beat a rain out when no one else can. :thumb

LINCOLN PARK.... Chili Bowl actually, but there are plenty of top notch tracks every weekend....hard to pick

Bloomington Speedway!!! Absolutely great track prep, abundant lawn chair seating, starts on time, and you don't have to spend 30% of your evening watching the John Deere parade. Best around.:thumb:thumb

Although a stretch to call it a midwest track, I would also have to vote for Cedar Lake in WI. It gets tons of laps per year and somehow they manage to have 2 wide racing in the A mains almost every night they run.

There are some things that could be better at Tri State, but as far as track prep and keeping a smooth running show...there's none better than Haubstadt
