Dan,

I hope you are right. I always enjoy sprints at Twin Cities and look forward to starting the season with the No Way Out 40. Maybe a surprise announcement will be forthcoming.

Mike

Don't wait till saturday the 31st! They are running Friday too, and what better way to support TCRP than to show up for the entire weekend.

Always a great sprint show there. As long as there is some track prep done the week leading up to it and not just hours before race time. If they would upgrade the fencing and facilities, I bet USAC would come back for sure. I don't think they have come back since one of Stewarts cars went through the fence in turn 1. That's a shame too because, I have seen some great racing there through the years.

Yea, I was there, that was Levi, and while they fixed the fence, he helped fix the car! He restarted on the tail and transferred! That was 2007 I believe.

I was there too. I couldn't remember if it was Levi or Tracy then. I do remember they had the car fixed and back on the track way before they had the fence fixed. It's a shame they don't fix the fence and get USAC back. Great racing and real close to the house.

I feel kinda bad for the Fleetwoods. It is hard to put money into a place you don't own. A track with a lot of potential, but needs a lot of upgrades. I just don't see the owner putting any of the rent he collects back into the place. Would be a nice place if the owner cared about it.

If someone can point me in the direction of a track Tony has saved I'd love to see a show there. The only thing i've seen him do with a track is make some kind of abomination out of Eldora. He is not the savior of open wheel racing make like a squirrel and get off his nuts.

i can see alot of tracks tony has saved you can go all the way to when he started racing. when i was a kid i can remember tony racing at osgood! the burg ! twin cities! rushville! greensburg! and many more of the great tracks that i attend to this day. if there is one man that put back in to what they got out of racing you would have to say smoke has done a great job of that. (earl was the best) the only thing i ve seen him do is to be a fine asset to the racing fans world wide. thanks tony for all the great things that you have done for dirt track racing
