Hard to narrow it down, but I really had a good time at these events:

Indianapolis 500
POWRi midgets "The Battle at the Center"
Three day midget-sprint show at Tri-City (Pontoon Beach / Granite City)
Eldora USAC Three Crown
USAC Silver Crown at DuQuoin

I can't leave out the POWRi midgets at Belle-Clair or Hut Hundred at Haubstadt, as well as just about any of the sprint car races I attended there

1 Justin Grant misses the heats starts on the tail of the b finishes third. Starts on the last row of the A and wins. It was a great run, and was done on a heavy and fast track at Gas City.
2 Opening night at Kokomo. The top 3 put on a great battle, and then 4th place Windom steals the win.
3 Little 500. Chris Windom passes Eric Gordon for the win after being 2 laps down late in the race.
4 Opening night at Ocala for USAC last turn pass.
5 Putnamville Midgetweek Clauson beats Larson after a lap after lap duel.

For what ever reason, I thought I saw a lot of good shows last year. Maybe it all the rainouts in the spring built the anticipation.
