If I get this new job at work, I will have to take time off to go to weekend races, but I get to go to Thursday Friday races. Excited to possibly see a new track next year (Bloomington) possibly and see Sprint week at LPS.

My first visit to LPS was in the late '90s while I was doing a trade show in Indy. One of my colleagues had a rental car and I talked him into driving over there. (He had never seen a sprint car race - and it was my first non-wing race) . It was a great show, and while I've only been back a couple of times since, it remains one of my favorite tracks. It deserves to be on the Sprint Week calendar, and I hope I can make it back for the event. Thanks to USAC and to Joe Spiker for adding it.

Yeah but they don't drive water trucks into the path of a already started heat race either.

You sprint car fans that only go to Brownstown once a year have no room to talk. Brownstown gave you one bad experience out of the two times you've prolly been there. I only go there a handful of times a year, but they host more big dollar shows than nearly any other track in Indiana. I've seen great racing there and I've seen boring racing there, but I still enjoyed it all. I'm glad Lps got a sprint week date, but there is no reason to drop Brownstown, last I checked there was two open days in sprint week. And don't even say its too hard on the teams, if you think sprint weeks hard look up the ump summernationals.
