The way I've understood the story, is that a few years ago there was the announcement of a large commercial/industrial development coming to the area just north of the racetrack area on IL. Rt. 111. At that time the communities of Granite City, Pontoon Beach, Mitchell and Edwardsville got into a politically involved land battle which led to jurisdictional boundary changes and corporate limits. Thus, the north end of the City of Granite City was annexed by the community of Pontoon Beach along with several other changes in that whole area.

I think Mudpacker is correct on the Tri-City definition....hell I don't know

I'd suggest you ask a mailman, but.....

The front door rule applies here as well...pretty much.

2 upcoming trips knocked me out of it this year, but next year?
