The price of everything related to racing is perfect.
All weather conditions are perfect.
There is no such thing as a race that sucked/every race is perfect.
Tracks and sanctioning bodies scheduling against each other on purpose, is perfect.
Sitting through track worker incompetance, spin dizzy support classes, crazy long rain delays, and watching the sun come up as the sprint feature takes the green flag, is perfect.
The cost of gas to get to and from the races is perfect.
This country's economy is perfect.
etc, etc, and on and on........

So is everyone supposed to 'fake it', and pretend that everything is perfect, or are people allowed to actually have an opinion?

Sometimes, complaints are warranted and justified!!

Bill, good stuff...Here is a sign that Sharon Speedway had posted at their pit gate:

Sharon is an old, fast dangerous track,

1) It may be smooth
2) It may be rough
3) It may be dry
4) It may be wet
5) It may be dustless
6) It may be dusty
7) It may go smoothly
8) It may be confusing
9) It may go slow
10) It may go fast
11) It might rain <<<<EDIT: you can tell this is an OLD sign,
12) The show may run late
13) You may like the man-age-ment
14) You may not like the man-age-ment
15) You may like the rules
16) You may not like the rules
17) It might be the best damn show ever

If you feel you can't run under these con-di-tions, save us the trouble, stay home,
The Management

Every track needs a sign like this at ALL Ticket booths...They just need to add spectate to the last line...

Think about it, Mr. Cook, how in the World could people complain about all of those things, in a place that we supposedly don't have any freedom of speech?

Jerry

So now you are trying to 'insult' me, with your smart@ssed comments???

To me, Mr. Gardner is tired of people complaining on his site. Otherwise, why would he take the time to type that whole post????

I don't see much 'sarcasm' is listing out what is exactly being talked about, or has been talked about, on this site...... Please explain it to me, since you apparently think I have no reading comprehension skills..........

BTW: I never said anything about 'freedom of speech'.

That's funny!!

Racing has it's problems... but overall I think we all enjoy it. I choose to not take life so serious, it is a much better way to live.

You posted a nearly exact list of what people have said they didn't like, for a while now. And that is supposedly 'obviously' sarcastic??
